You can assign any task or sub task in Rindle, making it easy to share what’s going on with the people on your team (or even contractors). There is no limit to how many people you can assign a task to.

Assigning a Task

To assign a task to someone, click the +  icon in the right corner of the task's screen and start typing in the person’s name to assign them the task:

Assigning a Sub Task

If you want to assign a sub task to someone, you can do so in just a few clicks.

To do this, click on the sub task directly.  This will pull up a full view of the sub task, where you’ll be able to click the assign icon and type in the name of the person you want to assign the sub task to.

Direct Assign

Direct Assign allows you to assign someone to a task who is not on the board.

To direct assign a task to someone, click the +  icon in the right corner of the task's screen and click Direct Assign at the bottom of the menu.

Tasks that are direct assigned will show in the Browse section of that user.

Watchers

When someone is assigned a task, they are also automatically added as a watcher. This ensure they receive task notifications on comments and more.
