Milestones are an easy way to track major accomplishments in your workflows and projects. They are generally used as a indicator to call out a significant event on your Gantt Chart such as a project launch, key deliverable, or presentation date.

Milestones are shown as a diamond in Gantt view. The diamond also displays on the task face in Column and List views.

Here is how you can set up Milestones in Rindle. Within a task, click the task menu and select "Make Milestone".

You can also make a task a milestone when you create a new task from the Gantt view

Note:

  • Milestones can be used in repeating tasks as well!

  • The task must have a start date for it to show on the Gantt chart

  • Milestones can have linked dependencies just like standard tasks

You can revert a milestone back into a task by opening the tasks menu and selecting "Unset Milestone".
