You can assign any task or sub task in Rindle, making it easy to share what’s going on with the people on your team (or even contractors). There is no limit to how many people you can assign a task to.
Assigning a Task
To assign a task to someone, click the + icon in the right corner of the task's screen and start typing in the person’s name to assign them the task:
Assigning a Sub Task
If you want to assign a sub task to someone, you can do so in just a few clicks.
To do this, click on the sub task directly. This will pull up a full view of the sub task, where you’ll be able to click the assign icon and type in the name of the person you want to assign the sub task to.
Sometimes there may cases where you want to keep someone in the loop without actually assigning a task to them.
For example, many managers may want to oversee tasks without actually being assigned to them.
In these cases, the best solution is to add them as “Watchers.”
While tasks can be assigned to anyone who is meant to complete the tasks at hand, watchers are able to comment and keep tabs on what’s going on without being marked as directly responsible for turning in deliverables (ideal for managers).
This can help your team better visualizes roles within tasks.
What can watchers do?
Watchers have a lot in common with people that are assigned to a task: They receive email notifications on tasks, view tasks, and comment.
